Day 2 in San Gimignano

Eating anchovies every day!  It's a beautiful thing!  Anchovies on my salad today with capers, tuna, olives and lots of great stuff.  The girls are loving all the pasta, gnocchi and pizza, of course.  We shopped and the girls bought alabaster eggs :)  We toured the Collegiata di Santa Maria and the girls were introduced to frescos and were enjoying trying to figure out what stories were told within them.  We climbed the Torre Grossa, the tallest of the 13 (remaining) towers of San Gimignano, and soaked up the incredible panoramic view of the countryside, town and piazzas below - Rooftops!  We are a bit ashamed that we ate at the same restaurant two nights in a row.  But, hey, the food was fab and the views were even more fab - and, as savvy people-in-the-know, we reserved the very best table our second time around :)

Tomorrow, we rent the car from Bruno.  Hoping that goes well
